The Welcome Team

We're always looking for additional smiling faces.  There's nothing more inviting than a genuine smile & "good morning"!  The Welcome Team is a group of men and women that enjoy creating a welcoming environment by providing a friendly & inviting presence and assisting with any needs or questions.  We work alongside leadership to ensure that our actions and preparation for each service, reflect Gateway's mission "to know Christ and to make him known."

Gateway's Matthew 25 Ministry.

The Matthew 25 Preparedness Ministry is here to help you learn the skills you need to thrive, no matter what life throws your way. Our classes and learning opportunities cover everything from canning and bread making to medicinal herbs, so you can be self-sufficient and prepared for uncertain times. All classes are hosted on the Gateway Campus or out in the appropriate environment (foraging, identifying plants, etc.).  Plus, you'll have the opportunity to meet like-minded people and join in with friends and neighbors to build a strong, supportive community.

This ministry is open to everyone, so don't hesitate to join us and start preparing for a brighter, more secure future. With the skills and knowledge you gain, you'll be able to help others in times of need and be a true asset to your community. Special Events Committee

Are you a fun and creative person with a passion for bringing people together? If so, we invite you to join our Special Events Committee! As a member of our committee, you will have the opportunity to coordinate events for holidays and fellowship, plan pot luck meals, and organize volunteers. Your contributions will help us create a vibrant and engaging community for all of our Gateway family members! 

Our committee is looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, organized, and committed to making a positive impact. Whether you have experience in event planning or are simply looking to get involved, we welcome all levels of expertise. By joining our committee, you will have the chance to collaborate with like-minded individuals, share your ideas, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Gateway's Worship Team

It is our desire that those who serve in the worship ministry are people who have not recovered from what God has done for them through Jesus Christ and who desire to express their adoration of Him through worship,
We are a team of worshippers - we have the incredible privilege and responsibility of creating an atmosphere of praise and worship to lead God's people.   We worship with the objective of teaching and leading songs that will allow others to engage in worship and sense God's Presence.
Are you a gifted musician and/or vocalist? Are you ready to use your gift to glorify God as part of the Praise Team or Choir?
Regularly scheduled practices are held each week to work together as a team to bring our very best to God on Sunday mornings. God has blessed Gateway Church's Worship Ministry by supplying gifted and willing members so that we can use different Praise Team combinations each Sunday. This enables us to work around busy schedules and unexpected life events. If you feel God is nudging you to use your gift for His glory, this is a great opportunity!

Media & Sound Team

We are excited to announce that Gateway's Media & Sound Team is offering training sessions for volunteers who want to assist in making our worship experience more meaningful. By signing up for a regular schedule, you will have the opportunity to work with our Worship Team and serve our congregation and community in a unique way. 

No prior experience is needed! We are dedicated to providing you with the necessary training and support to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in your role. Whether you have a passion for technology, music, or simply want to contribute to our church's mission, we welcome you to join us.

Nursing Home Ministry

Are you looking for a meaningful way to serve and give back to our community?
Look no further! Gateway's Nursing Home Ministry is seeking compassionate individuals like you to sit, visit, and bring joy to residents at River Valley Inn Nursing Home of Del Norte. Whether it's 30 minutes reading to them, chatting, praying with them, or simply enjoying a meal together, your presence and companionship can make a world of difference in their lives. Your weekly or monthly visits will not only provide comfort and encouragement but also create lasting memories for both you and the residents. 
Gateway Church goes in weekly every Thursday from 10:00-10:30 for hymn singing and a short devotional. Come and love on the residents and experience the smiles that light up their faces as you sing along and share God's Word with them. 
Join us weekly on Thursdays or call River Valley Inn (719-657-1105) to offer your time each month and experience the profound impact you can make in the lives of those who may feel lonely or forgotten. Together, we can spread love, laughter, and companionship to those who need it most.
